ABOUT ABOUT

We’re celebrating Women’s History Month with the Ninety-Nines, an international organization of women pilots. You’ll “earn your wings” exploring all things aviation.  You will learn about the parts of the airplane, the aviation alphabet, navigation for pilots, and about the different jobs existing in an airport environment.   You will fly on the flight school Simulator, have a special Aircraft Maintenance class from an in-house pilot and mechanic, and as a highlight, take a private tour of the North Perry Airport Tower. After the completion of the program, you  will have a very comprehensive understanding of what being a pilot is all about and also a global view of other aspects of aviation which will enrich your knowledge and will expand your horizons. This program has been specially designed for Girl Scouts Juniors to Ambassadors by the Ninety-Nines.  Adult supervision is required - this is not a drop off event.  Lunch is included.
