Our friends at the Marathon Marina have a fun day planned for Daisies and Brownies!
We'll learn all about fising, including: How a fishing pole works • how to bait your hook. • Fish On! Now what? • how to identify many small ocean creatures • how life jackets work and water safety. Then we'll fish from the safety of thefloating docks. All equipment will be provided.
Girls will also learn to snorkel in the beach entry saltwater pool (max depth 5 1/2 feet). All snorkeling equipment and live jackets are provided. If you have your own snorkel equipment go ahead and bring it! Minimum of 1 adult instructor for every 3 Girl Scouts.
You'll want to bring a sack lunch, your swimsuitm a towel and sunscreen and a reusable water bottle.
Get ready for a fun-filled day of activities with the mermaids of Marathon Marina.
This is not a drop off event. Parental supervision is required.
