Challenge Island® partners with Girl Scout councils nationwide and is offering this fully interactive, hands-on STEAM Girl Scout virtual workshop for Brownies! This workshop is taught by a certified Challenge Island Owner and will complete the third part of three of the Brownie Think Like an Engineer Journey. This workshop will complete all but the take action project.
At each workshop session, girls will use the Engineering Design Process to understand a real-world issue, create a design build around the topic, and will have the opportunity to show off their go-getter ingenuity to their fellow Girl Scouts. Girls are encouraged to wear their sash/vest.
Cost includes*: Three 1½-hour workshops with 3 separate design build challenges, three materials lists scavenger hunts, additional printouts as needed, AND a Certificate of Completion & exclusive Challenge Island patch mailed directly to the Girl Scout. Also includes the Journey badge and postage by GSTF.
